Founded by Olympic Gold Medalist Stein Ericksen, the Stein Eriksen Lodge in Park City, Utah, is nestled in the aspens and pines at 8,200 feet on Deer Valley's Wasatch Mountain. This ski-in/ski-out resort is styled in European elegance and mountain architecture.
Guests can enjoy global cuisine and scenic mountain views in the Glitrelind's window-filled dining room, featuring elevated decks with stone fireplaces for seasonal outdoor dining. This restaurant has an extensive wine cellar with more than 300 labels. The Glitrelind lavishes guests with complimentary hot breakfast buffets every morning. For lighter meals and beverages, the Troll Hallen Lounge offers a great view of the slopes and mountains from a blazing fireside.
During the winter, the hotel's ski valets are available to store and tune skis for the following day. In summer, the concierge can make arrangements for mountain biking, championship golf, tennis and outdoor concerts. The all-season heated pool has an elevated deck with unobstructed views of the mountainside, and a steaming whirlpool with water cascading over a rock waterfall.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From Salt Lake City International Airport:
Merge onto I- 80 E; proceed for about 20 miles. Take the Park City exit, #145 (Hwy 224). Turn right off the exit and proceed approximately five miles into Park City. Turn left at the Deer Valley Drive intersection. The road will come to a roundabout; continue on Deer Valley Drive. Follow Deer Valley Drive up for approximately two miles. Turn right onto Royal Street and follow it up the hill for approximately 2.5 miles. Turn right on Royal Street West. This loops around for about a half-mile. Turn right onto Stein Way at the Stein Eriksen Lodge sign.
Rental cars and chartered shuttles are the most popular forms of airport transfer. Guests can contact the resort concierge to arrange a pick-up in a chartered Town Car, Suburban, or van. Town Cars accommodate up to three passengers and cost $110 each way in summer, $159 in winter. Suburbans accommodate up to six passengers and cost $167 each way in summer, $175 in winter. Vans are $38 per person in summer, $40 in winter, with a two-person minimum. All prices are subject to change.
Ski access and mountain-bike trails are outside the hotel door. The hotel provides complimentary transportation in Lexus SUVs to and from destinations in the Park City area. In addition, a complimentary shuttle provides service between the hotel and Main Street; departures are every 30 minutes
